David Chong

David Chong is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and a consultant plastic and craniofacial surgeon specialising in cleft lip and palate.  He is actively involved in surgical education, research, and international teaching, and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field. David has extensive experience in global surgery, including long-standing involvement with Mercy Ships and Operation Smile, and remains committed to improving outcomes for children born with facial difference through both clinical care and education.
