Vaclav Baslik

Vaclav Baslik completed his studies in speech-language pathology and deaf education at Palacký University Olomouc, where he also defended his doctoral thesis. He fulfilled his postgraduate residency training in clinical speech-language pathology, culminating in the board certification examination at the Faculty of Medicine of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava. Throughout his professional career, his clinical and research focus has included speech therapy for vocal professionals and individuals in occupations demanding elite communication skills. Since 2005, he has been extensively engaged in the prevention, diagnosis, and therapeutic management of patients with cleft lip and palate. In 2009, he expanded his clinical scope to include voice therapy for medical indications. Currently, he maintains a private practice and holds a clinical appointment at the Department of Pediatric Plastic Surgery within the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics, and Traumatology at the Cleft Center of the Brno University Hospital.
