Zdenek Dvorak is a plastic surgeon and currently the Head of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at St. Anne's University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno. He has completed numerous professional internships and specialization courses at foreign institutions in the USA, Austria, Turkey, France, Germany, Spain, and Hungary. He has been working at the clinic since 2002, first as an Assistant professor since 2007, and since 2023 as an Associate professor of surgery at Faculty of Medicine, where he is involved in both undergraduate teaching and research projects.

He focuses on secondary cleft lip and palate procedures, especially nasal corrections and reconstructions, as well as orthognathic surgery. He also performs reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck, including tissue transfers and supermicrosurgery of lymphedema. He is vice-chairman of the Czech Society of Plastic Surgery and a member of the committee of the Czech Society for Hand Surgery and the Czech Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. Since July 2019, he has been Editor-in-chief of the journal Acta Chirurgiae Plasticae.
